Verge of Madness
Established in February of 2024, Verge of Madness is still new to the music scene, but the veteran musicians in this duo are far from amateurs.
According to Jeff Bryant, retired music educator, David “Mad Dog” Lynch is the “...best unknown soul singer on the east coast.” His powerful pipes and eclectic range has astounded the local music scene for decades.
Virgil Kris Kelly has been a musician for 50 years. He has played 10 different types of instruments professionally on stage in clubs and theaters in WV such as Carnegie Hall and the Greenbrier Valley Theatre, as well as CBGB’s in NYC, The 9:30 Club and The Kennedy Center in D.C., and a myriad of other venues dotted across the Mid-Atlantic area. Educated at Berklee College of Music and WVU, Virgil accompanies with his jazz-influenced style on piano and harmony vocals.
